Curtis Twigg is originally from Rome, PA. He came on staff in the fall of 2008 serving as the Program Director. He attended MMR as a rancher, then joined summer staff, and is a MMR School of Discipleship alumnus (04-06).
Hello Family and Friends!
It’s time to catch up! All is going well here at the ranch. The apprentices are getting back from spring break or the missions trip to Mexico. They will soon be jumping into their summer positions where they will be ministering for the remainder of their time here. My, how time flies by! The guys that I have in my group are doing well, not that I am going to lay claim to that, but it is by God’s grace and the obedience of these young men. They have been growing and changing and it has been neat to see God work in their hearts, even in things that they may not have wanted God to touch.
In preparation for the summer, we are making some physical changes. A big project that we are working on is our central restrooms. We have torn down the old one and are building anew. This is something that has needed to happen for some time and we are stepping out in faith, asking God to provide all that is needed to make this happen before summer hits. As I write this, the crew is putting up the steel framework for the first floor. Very exciting! Also, we are expanding our paintball course into the woods for a woods ball course, we are adding cabins out at our Fort for more housing during the summer, and we want to make more room in the bunkhouses that we currently have to be able to add one or two more bunks per unit. A lot of stuff needs to happen and God will be faithful.
Saving the best for last! In my last newsletter, I wrote that Amy Hepler and I had started a relationship. On February 20th, I asked Amy if she would marry me, and she said yes! We have set the date for August 25th. It fits right in between Apprentice Graduation and Family Camp. She will join me here at the ranch. It has been such an exciting time for us getting to know each other! I asked Amy to share some about her, so that you can get to know her a little bit more.
Hi, this is Amy. I look forward to getting to know you better and would like to share a little bit with you about who I am. I grew up in a loving, Christian home and spent my adolescent years very
involved in sports, music, and church activities. I have a passion for ministry which led me to attend Word of Life Bible Institute and Lancaster Bible College to study God’s Word and gain ministry experience. I enjoy serving in various ministry capacities including youth, children, and music ministry. Since 2008, I’ve been serving as Program Director at Whitehall Camp. It has been a great 4 years of ministry, but I am very excited for the next phase of life as Curtis and I begin our life together and I join him at the Ranch. I look forward to helping out at the Ranch, but am also seeking outside employment for supplemental income to help pay off my college loans. This will also provide ministry opportunities for both of us in the community.
1 Corinthians 13:13 “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

For Amy and me to continue on here at Miracle Mountain we will need $1,600.00 per month, basically double what my support needed to be before. We are looking for more supporters, so if you know of individuals or churches that you think might be interested in supporting us, please let us know. Feel free to give them our information. This is such an exciting time!
We put together some ideas for support and how people can give. If we can get 37 people supporting at these different levels, this would be fantastic!
