Instructor Bios:

Sarah Eddy Photography became a big part of my life about 5 years ago. I had bought my first camera and headed out to TX for a crash photography course. History began there. Ever since those classes a new world of photography was opened to me. Three years later I would have never expected to have my own photography business, but, as always, God has surprised me and given me the opportunity and means to be where I am today- 21 years old with my heart and life in the hands of my Lord and Maker, attempting to live life to the fullest without letting it overflow too much! ;) Photography is a passion, though it may be my “job” I photograph because I LOVE to. The name of my business, Sarahdipity Photos, was pinned as I walked through the streets of NYC in search for Serendipity for famous frozen hot chocolate on a beautiful spring evening in March of 2010.  Sarahdipityphotos.com

Sarah’s Planned Sessions:

  • Building a Successful Media Business
Come be inspired as we join together to look at the business side of photography. This class will cover the basics of business for photographers. Find your vision, set your goals, make a business plan and find perspective as a photographer striving to jump into the business. Contracts, business forms, copyrights, bookkeeping…we will cover it all plus more!
  • Natural Light Photography and New Born Photography
Natural light portraiture is about capturing personality, depth and meaning. Finding personality may be simple, knowing how to capture it become a little more complex. During this class we will be exploring the techniques of portraiture and lighting. Grab your camera and get ready to experience the tips and tricks of natural light portraiture.
  • Ministry and Media
Photography is a great tool to reach a world in need. Go use your photography to change the world. Set your goals and be inspired to use photography for more than just a job but use it to reflect the light of Christ. Without the light of Christ we are nothing, just as photography is nothing without light. Use the talent the Lord has given you to serve Him. Be the light in a dark world. Capture the light between the shadows. Most of all, reflect the light and keep shining for Him.
