Here’s an opportunity to experience the rugged west and learn some traditional cowboy skills as you ride, rope, and tend the herd. Part of your adventure will include trail rides, working cattle, and interesting hands-on ground classes. So, pack up your bed roll and saddle up as one of the “hands” for a week of excitement and character building.

Your 3 hours of instructional horse time will include:

• Intro to working cows and safety
• Body position and presence
• Riding instruction – Body position and control of your horse
• Moving cows with the horses
• Trail Rides
• Fun and interactive Ground classes: Knots, Horse care, Goat tying, and much more!
• Roping
• LTR – Lunch out on the Trail!!

You will also experience some of the other activities of camp:

• Pool
• Buckboard
• Confidence Course
• Games
• And much more!
