A closed toe shoe is required to ride horses (crocs do not count) A heeled boot is highly recommended for those attending horse camps. Long pants are required for horse activities. We recommend that shorts come to the knee. Come prepared for wet and/or cool weather. All dress should be modest. Girls are asked to bring a bathing suit that covers entire midriff  (shorts are also encouraged), dresses (not needed for camp) should cover the shoulder and come to the knee while sitting. No spaghetti-strap tank tops, leggings, yoga pants, or see through clothing please.

Special Dietary Needs

Non certified Gluten free options are available during all meals. However, due to the number of individuals we serve at each meal, we are unable to meet all special dietary needs and menus. Some exceptions may apply. Please contact MMR prior to registering for camp to see if we can meet your child’s need.

Insurance

Providing medical insurance for the rancher is the responsibility of the parents. All expenses due to illness are the responsibility of the parents.

Homesickness

In cases of extreme homesickness, we will contact the parent to notify them of the situation and allow them to decide a course of action. No refunds are made for early departure due to homesickness.

Code of Conduct

In order to offer a safe and encouraging summer camp experience for all kids that attend our programs, the following actions will not be permitted and may result in dismissal without a refund.

  • Any conversation or conduct that is sexual in nature
  • The possession of alcohol, drugs, tobacco products, or pornographic materials
  • Possession and misuse of smartphones/electronic devices
  • Possession of weapons of any kind such as firearms, knives, pepper spray, etc. (Those in Wilderness camps are allowed to carry small knives.)
  • Aggressive behavior towards other ranchers or staff such as fighting, threatening, or bullying
  • Any behavior that is deemed by Miracle Mountain Ranch Staff as having a negative effect on the experience of other ranchers
  • In the event that your rancher is sent home early from their week of camp, MMR Staff will contact you and you will be required to pick up your rancher immediately. We hope that none of our ranchers will be sent home for behavior issues this summer. We do, however, understand that this is not always the case. It is our goal to provide you with as much accurate information as possible in regard to expectations for camp so that you can make the most informed decision about sending your rancher to MMR. Please help us by reviewing these policies and communicating them with your ranchers prior to their arrival at camp; thank you so much for your time!

Refund Policy:

  • Refunds on camp will only be issued in the case of illness.

Photography/Video Policy

  • Before the start of the project, all commercial photography and/or videography must receive permission from the Executive Director or Marketing Director.
