In-Training Online Application Information

The In-training program is designed for teens 15 years of age and older who are interested in leadership training and desire to be mentored and discipled while gaining hands-on experience. A position at Miracle Mountain Ranch is not a typical summer job, and is not for everyone. You must have a genuine love for children, a learner’s attitude, the ability to be flexible when needed, and a lot of patience. We desire that you be a committed Christian who has a strong relationship with Jesus Christ and be looking for opportunities to share your faith with ranchers and staff. Please prayerfully consider these expectations before sending in this application.

Applicants must be 15 years of age or older.

Ministry Summary:

In-Trainings are responsible to the program heads and the department head in the department in which they are training and will carry out various responsibilities within that department. All attend staff training and learn valuable information that will assist them in their area of ministry such as: presenting Bible studies, building relationships, soul winning, horse safety, wrangling skills, mechanics behind media and other skills that help them minister to children. Upon satisfactory completion of staff training, each will be assigned to work two weeks of camp in their area of ministry.

• Counselor-In-Trainings (CIT) will assist counselors with bunkhouse activities and help teach games, sports and lead Bible studies.
• Barn In-Trainings (BIT) will assist in chores, saddling horses, trail rides, teaching classes and other horse-related projects.
• Media In-Training (MIT) will learn the mechanics behind media including: videography, photography, and website updating. They will help assist the media department in taking pictures of summer camp; help make the summer video, and anything else the media department assigns.

In-Training Cost: $435.00

A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee is due upon application. The remaining $385.00 is due by Staff Training Registration. (Financial assistance is available if needed, please contact the office for further information)

The staff training will begin June 19th and will conclude on June 22nd for the Teens-In-Training program; registration is from 4:00-5:00 PM. The two weeks of on-the-job training will be scheduled to meet your needs to the best of our abilities.

Flying? Please be aware that if you plan to fly in there is a fee for picking up and returning individuals to the airport. Please call to confirm fee and flight schedule prior to securing tickets. A flight itinerary and payment is to be sent to the office at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival.
