Family Camp 2

Date: Date: Aug. 30th – Sept. 2nd 2024
Speaker: Steve DeWitt

Family Camp is a great opportunity for your family to rest and reconnect after a busy summer. This retreat runs from 4:30PM on Friday and ends after lunch on Monday. The goal of our Family Camps at Miracle Mountain Ranch is to provide a safe, fun, and spiritually enriching environment where families can grow closer to God and closer to each other. There is a wide variety of activities to choose from to fit your family’s interests, as well as quality biblical teaching in our chapel sessions which include adult sessions and optional chapels for children ages 5-12 and nursery for children ages 4 and under.

Enjoy fellowship with other families and a variety of activities including swimming, low ropes course challenges, trail rides for ages 8 and up, pony rides for younger ones, handling small animals in our Critter Coral, hiking, wagon rides, Gopherball, and optional paintball and 5 stand shooting sports for the adventures in your family! If you like to explore, feel free to take a day trip to visit local attractions like Niagara Falls, the Allegheny Forest, the Kinzua Dam, or Lake Erie, all within 2.5 hours of the Ranch.

Come make memories with your loved ones, filling your weekend with as much or as little activities as you like. It would be our privilege to host your family at Miracle Mountain Ranch, and we hope to see you soon!

Top hand quarters are bunk-style units with restrooms in the room. Our RV sites provide water, sewer, and electric (50 or 30 amp). For pricing and more information, call our office at 814-664-7673.

Steve DeWitt
It has been Pastor Steve’s joy to serve as Bethel Church’s senior pastor since 1997. His primary responsibilities are teaching at our weekend services, shepherding the people, leading the staff, serving as an elder, and providing overall vision for the church.

Steve’s passions include expository preaching, the doctrines of grace, helping the church engage its culture, and the beauty of God. He often speaks in contexts outside of Bethel, is a council member of The Gospel Coalition, and enjoys traveling as a part of Bethel’s global mission efforts. He also serves on the board of Global Action, an international missions organization providing theological training for church leaders across the world.
In addition to weekends at Bethel, Steve’s teaching ministry can be heard through Bethel’s media ministry, The Journey. This teaching ministry airs weekdays and weekends on stations across the country including Moody Radio. Steve is the author of Eyes Wide Open (2012) and Enjoying God in Everything (2022) and coming in 2024, Loneliness: Don’t Hate it or Waste it. Redeem it.

A graduate of Cornerstone University and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, Steve’s interests include reading, travel, sports of all kinds, and rooting for University of Iowa teams. You are likely to run into him at a golf course near you.

After serving as a single pastor for many years, Steve was married to Jennifer in August of 2012. You can read their story in this article featured by The Gospel Coalition. They rejoiced at the birth of their daughters Kiralee in 2013 and Madeline in 2015. The DeWitts live in Crown Point.
