Ben Baldus currently trains reiners and works alongside NRHA Professional and Hall-of-Famer Doug Milholland at the Waggoner Ranch in Electra, Texas. He has taught Reining at SHOT (Stock Horse of Texas) clinics in Texas and Oklahoma, as well as giving clinics for 4-H and community horse programs. Ben has trained and ridden the reserve-high and high-selling horses for the Waggoner ranch at the Return to the Remuda sale and Best of the Remuda competition. His abilities as a trainer and showman are evident as he continues to train and show NRHA money earners at major events such as the Futurity, Derby and National Reining Breeder’s Classic.
Reining Clinic May 4-6
Registration will begin at 7:00 PM on Friday evening with a snack later that evening. We will be starting our day on Saturday at 8:30 and breaking for lunch at 12:30. The afternoon session will continue from 1:30 – 4:00. Following this our Buckboard store will be open. Sunday morning will start with a presentation from Ben Baldus, followed by brunch, with a final session afterwards. Ben will be available following the clinic for any questions.
You are strongly encouraged to bring your own horse, however, there is a limited number of spots for participants who wish to use our horses. Please call and check on availability. Stalls are available for the weekend. Bedding, hay and water buckets will also be provided.
All personal horses must have a current Rabies Certificate, Flu, Tetanus and Current Coggins.

Auditing without housing is $75.00, this includes meals. Auditing with housing is the same cost of $159.00
Top Hand Quarters have a bathroom in the room .
All housing units are shared with others unless being housed as a couple or families.
