The title of this article is very pertinent in light of the ever-changing staff here at the Ranch. In just a glimpse, life can change. As a body, we rejoice with many of these changes, but also grieve as well. With the close of summer camp and graduation, two of our staff have ended their time here with us. We are excited for God’s calling on their hearts to continue to disciple others across the country, though we will miss them terribly.

Patty May, who originally joined us over 20 years ago as our Food Service Director and then transitioned into the role of Dean of Women, is now living in Wyoming and serving as a Women’s Counselor in a church near her family.

Nichole Smith, who was a huge blessing in our Equine Department, also departed shortly after Graduation to begin her new life in southern Ohio.

Heidi Halcomb, who has served in the Marketing Department for the last four years, will also be leaving in December to move back home to be near her family in California, where she will continue her education through Liberty University Online in Business Administration.

With all of these departures come new beginnings, as well. Two of our staff, Kara Baratta and Daniel Stanley, wed on September 24th and are enjoying building their new lives together. Kara is moving from the Horse Department to the School of Discipleship office, where she will be working alongside Daniel.

We have also recently welcomed Josh Bridges and Christina Coder on staff. Josh will be helping in the Programming Department and Christina is assisting in our Food Service Department. Both have already been a tremendous blessing to the ministry.

We have been blessed by their faithful service to God’s work here at the Ranch. Many of our staff are in need of monthly support. If you would like to contribute to their support, you can give through our website on the staff page, or through the mail with a memo to designate your gift.
