We are taking name suggestions for the new building at Miracle Mountain Ranch. Here are some of things it will include:
Housing for about 30-40 people: Some on the second floor and even more on the third floor. They will be nice bunkhouse style units with private bathrooms for each unit.
Activity Center: The first floor will be primarily open and used as a multipurpose activity center.
Central Restrooms – Will serve as the general restroom for the Ranch but with many upgrades over the old bathrooms.
Please reply to this feed with your suggestions. Note that we are western themed and most buildings fit this theme in name and style.
Dottie’s Bed, Bath & Shave!
“Pacific Railroad Co.” The activity center could be “the last spike” or “the golden spike” and the housing units could be named after some of the cities that the railroad passed through during its creation (Council Bluffs, Sacramento, Elkhorn/Omaha, Reno, Promontory Summit. Afterall, what would the west have been without the railroad?
Double “D” Boarding House (in honor of Dale and Dutch)
Definitely a winner. It should be a boarding house (not a hotel – lest it interferes with Cattleman’s), since it will have both bed & bath. And it’s a neat way to honor the founders.
For practicality, you could simply call it “the Double D.”
Platte river hotel
Faith’s Boarding house 🙂
I think it should be named something western meaning Farmstead so my ideas are Atworth (meaning at the farmstead), Steadman ( meaning farmstead occupant) or Westby (meaning western farmstead) 🙂
You could call it something like steadman’s stop.
Dakota Territory
Heritage House
I like this one. For this building has a heritage. Plus is going to be like a boarding house. And you already have Zed’s bed and bath.
The Fandango
Deadwood Pass- fits the western theme and deadwood was an actual old western town.
